I've created some online polls for people to voice their opinion about colors for the next reunion.

Got the email list

I got the list of email addresses etc. from Leona.  I promise not to spam the list with trivia or offers for millions of dollars from royalty in Nigeria.  I figure key announcements like the location and date of the next reunion, a 1-month warning when the deadline for reservations is approaching, and that sort of thing.


Hopefully all the "noise" will be on this blog: ideas, discussion, voting via online polling, organizing, etc.

At the 2010 reunion, I didn't take my camera out of the bag until Sunday morning.  Why?  I don't know.  Enough people were taking pictures, one more camera wouldn't add anything.  So Sunday morning I took the point-and-shoot camera I borrowed from Marc and took some artsy photos.  Here they are.

Now that the 2010 Hartman Family Reunion is [barely] over, it's time to start planning for the 2013 reunion. Elaine is the main organizer and she's made it clear that she'll be delegating a lot of it to other people, such as myself (Bruce).

This blog is for planning, communication, organization, discussions, and whatever. With blogs, I've found that the best thing to do is to just start putting stuff on it and let it develop over time.

I had a great time at the 2010 reunion and I'll be writing a lot about it, but on a different blog or maybe on Facebook. There's so much to say, but I just got home and it's after midnight here in Boston.
